REO Roofing was built by Randy Oster after more than a decade of hands-on roofing work in real storm situations. His career began in 2013, when he relocated to Denver, Colorado, to help with restoration work after a major hailstorm.
That experience led him to Austin, Texas, after a serious wind and hail event, and later to Florida, where he assisted with hurricane cleanup efforts after Hurricane Ida. Those years taught him that roofing is not just about shingles and materials.
It is about helping people understand what happened to their property, what needs attention, and what can be handled with an honest plan.
After years of traveling for storm restoration work, Randy knew his future was back home. REO Roofing was founded in 2023 to bring that wider roofing background to homeowners and property owners in Altoona, WI, Chippewa Valley, and surrounding areas. The goal has stayed simple: communicate clearly, give honest recommendations, and avoid pushing work that is not needed.
